A new study published in the Journal of Medicinal Food has confirmed the in-vitro anti-inflammatory properties of the patented complex of Optim Curcuma.

The group of researchers from the University of Rhode Island (United States) reported that treatment of cells with the patented curcumin complex of Optim Curcuma significantly reduced inflammatory markers such as nitric oxide (NO), prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) and interleukin-6 protein (IL- 6).

Indeed, curcumin seems to inhibit in this case the activation of the NF-kappa B protein, a protein involved in the immune response and the cellular response to stress.
